I’ve been a fan of Jeremy Lin since his obscure place in the Golden State Warriors. Now that he’s with the Knicks, I’ve been very happy. What concerns me is the rumor that at the end of the season, he will thrown into the D-League team the Erie Bayhawks. I would be distraught beyond belief. Then, I heard that the Knicks will keep him, which prefer. Can somebody please clarify his future in the NBA?

You’re kidding, right?
Why would they send him down to the D-league? That would be like telling Michael Jordon the Bulls don’t need him because he’s not good enough or something.
Assuming he’s still under contract, he’ll be staying with the Knicks – and will probably be one of their starters, instead of a bench warmer.
If his contract is up, expect heavy bidding by other big teams. After all, I can’t think of any team that wouldn’t mind having a young kid on their team that could generate 25-30 points per game all by himself.
He is a top point guard in the NBA now. He was overlooked by everyone. His contract with the Knicks is only $800,000, but expect a couple million next season. He’s underpaid right now.
Lin actually played with the bayhawks for one game before being sent back to the knicks http://nymag.com/daily/sports/2012/02/re…
