Small Forward – Boris Diaw – 6′ 8”, 235 *unrestricted FA from Charlotte. He averages 8.3 PPG / 5.3 RPG / 0.6 BLKPG / 11.92 PER
Q 2. Cut Ron Artest or involve in a trade? Presently Artest averages 4.7 PPG / 2.6 RPG significantly less than Boris.

I’m not a Lakers fan but I’m very familar with Gilbert Arenas. It would be a horrible idea to start him 4 two reason. First being he doesn’t fit the Lakers offense because he’s a score first pg who doesn’t get teammates involved. And we both know Kobe wouldn’t accept another guy jacking up alot of shots. Then he has a cronic knee injury that still hasn’t recovered. Thats why his production has gone way down.
O2-They should use the amnesty clause on him because no team would want him in a trade. Because of his bad contract and history of being a headache.
your looking strictly at stats. Diaw plays on arguably the worst teams in the nba so his stats are inflated, plus he showed up like 30 lbs over weight this season. Artest offense sucks, but his defense is waaaaaaaay better than Diaw.
