I Want Join The Nba!?

By NBA Rumors Posted in: NBA Players

i am 13 years old, i have always wanted to join the nba since i started playing basketball.i am an ok player, but i want to be the best. i just want some advice or some tips to learn how i can be the best that i can be.

  1. Football Lova! Says

Keep this in your head! Top priority. If you still think the same way DEEPLY by the time you are older, around 16 or so, then pursue that dream. And practice everyday. I don’t care if you want to go play xbox or PS3. PRACTICE! It will help trust me. I use to be picked last at lunch time games, now I am the key player of our bball team and just yesterday I got a 30 point game. We only scored 59.. I got half of our score. You know why? I practiced! And if you are visiting a friend and wanna play video games, play a basketball game at least! I guarantee it will help you play better. Watching bball games also improves your skills.

  2. KZ Says

Depends on which positions you want to play.
And just practice a lot, and don’t be afraid to try new things.
Remember develop a style of play you are best at. Don’t go imitate a certain player’s style just b.c they are cool.
Be persistant. Don’t give up so easy. If you don’t end up in NBA, think about all the other benefits you will get from the training. You will develop a great character.
And just believe in yourself, and don’t listen to others so easier. Unless they are trying to help of course.
    And
    Like Chris Bosh always says:
“If you spend time in gym, good things will happen.”
Good Luck and I wish to see you on TV one day.

  3. sean m Says

non stop practicing. a lot of running and quickness drills. you want to have a strong core, and strong legs. you want to be quicker, stronger, and able to jump higher than your opponents. get in tip top shape and then work on fundamentals. shooting, court vision, passing. chances are you wont make it because its near impossible so dont let your practicing get in the way of your grades.

  4. Adam76 Says

Practice, hard work, and dedication. It’s good to set your expectations high, but that is indeed a tall task to aspire for. Good luck.

  5. LeBron James is the Best-Reppin Says

Better practice and work hard everyday it ain’t easy man
