He took his talents to the NBA straight out of high school. Didnt average above 20 PPG until his 3rd season. Shaq, and most of the other players on that list had college experience and averaged 20+ PPG since their rookie year. Plus Kobe played alongside Shaq(another prolific scorer) for many years. Most of the other guys were always option one and didnt play with other prolific scorers. I still find this achievement hard to believe.

That is a great achievement specially for a shooting guard. If you will look at Kobe’s contemporaries like Iverson, Carter, TMac, Hill, etc, where are they now?
kobe never shot over 47% for his career, kobe is also the all time leader in missed shots and he missed the most potential game winning shots in nba history (79), FACT.the media will hardly ever mention that because kobe is the nba’s poster boy
Kobe is an all-time great. He is a top 5 player, and I am a true NBA fan. I can get all the thumbs down in the world, but KOBE IS A TOP 5 PLAYER OF ALL TIME! Only players like Steve Nash, Duncan, Pierce, Garnett, maybe some others im forgetting are in the eh top 50.
He has worked his butt off to get to where he is. Much respect to Kobe.
